About

Brb, pretending to be an apatosaurus.

Ask me anything.

INFP, Neutral Good, and an omnivore frequently masquerading as an herbivore.

Things which are an absolute delight unto the very cockles of my soul include apple orchards on windy days, baking bread, fields of wildflowers, pouring rain, cat paws, naps, bicycles, things with owls, tall tales and fairy-tales, knee bruises, hobbits, hedgehogs, blustery days, finding shapes in clouds, raking leaves, eating bowls of salad as big as my head, giraffes, stretching, wearing dresses, hand-written letters, freckles, skirts and sweaters, the sea-shore, snuggling up under a bunch of blankets, crocheting, hooping, spending afternoons in libraries, and big warm bowls of noodles and cups of tea or coffee.

Every now and then some joker thinks about the single people.Even though this is not necessarily a sad thing as they try to sell it as here. What if you lived in a really tiny dorm and you could use this clever space saver….
The crushing sadness of living a life of solitude is a little easier to deal with knowing there are furniture designers creating pieces specifically for single souls. Like Matali Crasset’s ’Sweet Talk and Dream’ which transforms from a TV tray table to an equally depressing single-sized bed.
Now, thinking of someone sitting all by themselves at this table eating a frozen TV dinner and sleeping without someone by their side might make you a little sad, but there are upsides to this design too. It finally gives someone living in a small apartment the opportunity to have a real dining room table for two people. There’s far less table surface to have to clean. And after a big meal, when you feel logey and bloated, you don’t have to crawl to your bedroom to doze off. You can just roll to the side, flip over the seats, and you’re ready for an evening of self-loathing. This designer has clearly thought of everything.

This is actually pretty genius. Chances are when I move out I’ll only be able to afford an itsy-bitsy studio, so something like this would actually come in handy.
