Today feels like autumn.
All I want to do is make autumny food. Mushroom soup. Spicy mashed parsnips. This amazing sandwich of steamed acorn squash, zucchini, leafy greens, and mashed avocado. Chili with turkey sausage and apples. Cornbread, applesauce, mushroom-walnut turnovers. Oh gosh, this walnut boule I love to make. Man.
I really want pumpkin or acorn squash, but we aren’t going to the grocery store today, so...

It's Wednesday.
Wednesdays are a dire threat to my introversion.

It’s pretty chilly today, so I’m wearing a long-sleeved shirt and pretending it’s already autumn.

So on Saturday while I was at B’s house, while waiting for him to get ready, I picked up the first book from the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series and read the first three chapters. And, um, now I want to run to the library and read the entire series.
